A University of Nebraska Kearney student looking to enter dental school earned a rare score on the admissions test. Mara Hemmer earned a perfect score of 30 on the test, which the university says takes about five hours to complete. “I was very, very surprised,” Hemmer said in a UNK statement. “I studied a lot, but it was still very shocking for me.” Hemmer, a Fremont native, said she prepared for three months and her perfect score was verified last week. “It’s something I can be really proud of, because I spent a lot of time studying for this,” she said. More than 12,000 dental school candidates take the exam each year. On average, candidates earn a score of 19, depending on the university. A University of Nebraska Kearney student looking to enter dental school earned a rare score on the admissions test.
Mara Hemmer scored a perfect 30 on the test, which the university says takes about five hours to complete.

Hemmer, originally from Fremont, said she prepared for three months and her perfect score was verified last week.
