FORECAST OF THE DAY. SO YOU WILL KNOW FIRST THAT THIS IS THE FIRST ALERT OF THE TIME. ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER HEAT, ANOTHER HUMIDITY. YES, UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS NO BREAK TODAY. ACTUALLY. THERE IS NO TRUE REST UNLESS YOU ARE UNDER ONE OF THOSE STORMS WE HAVE BEFORE. Yeah, but then things got steamy after they left. VERY, VERY LITTLE BREAK NOW, BUT IN THE END WE WILL SEE A BETTER REST FOR MORE THAN 15 MINUTES. GOOD, EXCELLENT. LIKE A COUPLE OF DAYS. WHAT ABOUT THAT? HELLO REALS, YOU ARE IN THE CITY. YOU KNOW THE MARLINS ARE IN TOWN TO WARM UP THE INDEX ABOUT 101 AT THE MAX 93. FIRST PITCH. CHANCE OF STORMS. COULD BE REDEVELOPED IN THE LATTER INNINGS 88 WILL BE THE TEMPERATURE. SO. BUT AS I MENTIONED, TOMORROW WILL BE A LITTLE COOLER. IT WILL BE LESS WET, SO THAT’S A GOOD SIGN. BUT RIGHT NOW, AS WE LOOK FURTHER WEST, WE SEE CLEARER SKIES. THAT’S WHY THE TEMPERATURE HAS RISE AGAIN. 91 HEAT INDEX. There you have it. 102 IS WHAT THAT HUMIDITY FEELS LIKE AT 61%. AND THAT’S GOING TO RE-ENERGIZE AND GIVE US THAT CHANCE FOR STORMS AS A FRONT KeynoteUSAPROACHES US. IT’S 94 DEGREES IN HIAWATHA, 93 DEGREES IN TRENTON. BUT WHERE IT RAINED 87 IN OLATHE, 86 IN LEE SUMMIT, 88 DEGREES IN WARRENSBURG. THERE WERE THE CLOUDS, A LITTLE THICKER. AND ALSO THE CHANCES OF RAIN. THAT’S A LITTLE POCKET, RIGHT HERE WHERE YOU SEE THE TEMPERATURES A LITTLE COLDER THAN EVERYTHING SURROUNDING THE HEAT INDEX READINGS. ALSO KEPT IN THAT LITTLE POCKET WHERE WE HAD THE RAIN. BUT BACK TO 101 FOR ATCHISON 108. IN LAWRENCE, 108 IN OTTAWA, 106 FOR GARNETT AND AS YOU MENTIONED, NOT SO STEAM. MORE TO THE EAST AND SOUTHEAST. YEAH. THE HUMIDITY IS HIGH, BUT AT LEAST THE HEAT INDEX IS NOT THAT HIGH. HERE YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE CLOUDS AND THE RADAR. THIS CLOUD CONTINUES TO REMOVE. WE HAVE SOME SHOWERS FAR FROM THE EAST, SO WE’RE GOING TO DRY. YOU CAN DEFINITELY SEE THAT AS EVIDENCE ON THE KANSAS TO NEBRASKA SIDE. BUT I WALK TO THE NORTH AND NORTHWEST OF THAT IN NEBRASKA. THAT’S WHERE WE’RE GOING TO FOCUS OUR ATTENTION FOR THE NEXT CHANCE OF RAIN. THAT COULD TAKE SEVERAL HOURS AWAY. YELLOW TRIANGLES. DUE TO THE HEAT DURING THE NEXT HOURS. WE FINALLY RETURNED TO THE DOUBLE DIGITS AT 8 PM BUT THEN WE HAVE TO PUT OUR ATTENTION TO OUR RAIN AND THUNDERSTORM CHANCES. SOME THAT COULD BE A LITTLE STRONGER WITH GUSTY WINDS AND TORRENTIAL RAIN AGAIN, BUT THIS TIME THE TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY WILL DOWN AFTER THING MOVES 78 DOWN THE AFTERNOON TEMPERATURE. HERE’S A LOOK AT THE STORM PREDICTION CENTER. WHAT THEY THINK THE POSSIBILITY OF WINDS OF 50 AND 60 MILES PER HOUR. THAT’S THE POSSIBILITY OF QUARTER-SIZED HAIL. HEAVY RAINS. THOSE ARE THE THREE THAT WORRY US THE MOST. THROUGHOUT THE REGION. LOOKING INTO THE FUTURE OF THE FIRST ALERT CAN’T WRONG HUH? THIS MODEL REALLY ESTABLISHED WHERE THOSE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE GOING AND STARTED TO DECLINE AT 8:00. WE MUST BE DRY FOR THE BALLGAME TO BE GOOD, BUT HERE COMES THE NEXT ROUND OF SHOWERS AND STORMS AROUND MIDNIGHT. 1 OR 2 IN THE MORNING THUNDER, HEAVIER SHOWERS MOVING IN WITH SOME GUSTY WINDS AS WELL. 7:00 MAY SLOW DOWN FOR THE MORNING DRIVE, BUT AFTER THAT WE MUST EXIT ONE MORE TIME INTO THE HIGH TEMPERATURE ON THIS SIDE OF 9087. THE FIRST HIGH ALERT THEN EXCLUSIVE NINE DAY FORECAST WILL KEEP IT IN THE 80S F FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS IN A ROW. THURSDAY AGAIN LESS HUMID, 80 DUE TO THE HIGH TEMPERATURE. THEN CHANCE OF RAINFALL EARLY ON FRIDAY. BACK TO 92, BUT BACK DOWN WITH A CHANCE OF RAINS EARLY SATURDAY IN THE HIGH OF 85. AND THEN WE STARTED TO WARM UP ONCE AGAIN TOWARDS THE JULY 4TH HOLIDAY. WE GO BACK TO THE 90’S AND STAY IN THE 90’S FOR SEVERAL DAYS IN A ROW. UPPER 60S NEAR 70 F IN THE MORNING, AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES, HIGHES ONCE AGAIN ABOVE NORMAL BACK IN THE 90S F, NOT JUST 90 DEGREES. US’
