Residents of southeastern Wyoming can expect a cool, cloudy day today followed by warmer temperatures this weekend, according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service.
The agency posted the following on its website:
Expect a cooler day as cloudy skies along and east of I-25 gradually dissipate from west to east throughout the day. Watch for areas of dense fog near the crest of I-80 this morning! Some very isolated storms are possible this afternoon, primarily in Laramie County and the southern Northeast. If storms develop, they have the potential to become strong or severe.
But this weekend should see a warming trend:
