(Stacker) – The real estate frenzy sparked by the coronavirus pandemic continues, albeit at a slower pace.
Buyers are still competing for a limited supply of homes, driving up affordable property prices.
In April, the typical value of a home in the United States was $359,402, up 4.4% from a year earlier.
Rising mortgage rates have slowed growth, and prices have even fallen in some places. But in some areas there are still price increases compared to the previous year.
Stacker compiled a list of cities with the fastest-growing home prices in the Phoenix metro area using data from Zillow. Cities are ranked by their price change in one year starting in April 2024.
