Broken Arrow, Oklahoma will bring back the patriotic celebration this weekend with the New Orleans Block Party.
Beginning Thursday, June 27, visitors can enjoy live music, food trucks, and a fireworks show on Friday and Saturday nights. The three-day festival will take place at the newly renovated New Orleans Square in Broken Arrow.
Visitors can expect the variation of live music; country and red dirt music from bands like Outlaw 51rock of the Voice of Rock Radio and even some funk for the end by St Paul and the Minneapolis Allstars.
According Farhad Daroga Special Projects Manager, “New Orleans and Elm were once the heart of the city.” After watching buildings, with years of Broken Arrow history, fall apart and seeing the loss of revenue over the years, citizens and stakeholders believed there could be more for the city if the right things were implemented.

If you plan to visit the celebration, please note that you will need to bring your own chair and pets will need to stay home. Bring the kids, as there will be a designated children’s area for the little ones. Let’s celebrate America and Broken Arrow together this year this weekend.
The Best 4th of July Celebrations in Oklahoma
There’s nothing like celebrating America’s independence in the heartland, and Oklahoma practically oozes patriotism throughout the state. While most cities have their own celebrations, some are larger than others. Since it would be difficult to catch them all in one day, they are spread out a bit over two and a half weeks, pick one or more and let your American flag fly.
