ATLANTA – A new study finds that Georgia is among the top 10 states that plan home improvements more than most.

New research has revealed the states most eager to spruce up their homes, with Georgia Residents were found to be the eighth least satisfied with the current state of their properties.
The study, conducted by online storage search engine SpareFoot, analyzed 50 different search terms related to remodeling, such as “bathroom remodel” and “kitchen remodel” over the past 12 months.
These searches were then compared to local populations to determine which states are most interested in making home improvements.
According to the findings, those in Georgia They are planning home renovations more than most. The state averaged 401 searches per 100,000 residents each month, 31% higher than the national average of 306 searches per 100,000 residents.
The most popular terms Georgia searched for were “bathroom remodel,” “kitchen remodel,” and “house remodel.”
Georgia residents conducted an average of 9,783 monthly searches for “bathroom remodel,” which is a 118% increase from the average of 4,992 monthly searches for “kitchen remodel,” indicating that demand for fixtures and bathroom accessories will be significantly higher in the state.
Illinois It is the state with the greatest need for remodeling, with 470 monthly searches per 100,000 residents, 54% above the US average.
The second is Coloradowhich is still 46% higher with 447 monthly searches per 100,000 people. Maryland ranks third, with residents searching 39% more than the typical American, with 423 monthly searches per 100,000 people.

At the other end of the scale, Mountain Residents have the least intention to improve their homes, with only 174 monthly searches per 100,000 people, 43% below the national average.

South Dakota is third with 194 monthly searches per 100,000 people, 37% below the US average.

“Now that we have entered spring, many people will be thinking about starting whatever home improvement projects are on their 2024 wish list.
“It is the ideal time, since the weather is starting to warm up, but it is not too hot to do manual work, especially if it is a small, unventilated bathroom.
“In fact, the bathroom was found to be the room that Americans are most eager to improve: there are about 256,000 searches for ‘bathroom remodel’ each month. This is almost double the number of searches for ‘kitchen remodel,’ which receives an average of 138,770 searches each month.”
