New Jersey State Council on the Arts Named Winner of May 2024 Edition “See it, share it” campaign at the New Jersey Stage. The campaign awards a free month of our core advertising package to someone who has shared a New Jersey Stage story on their social media. Winners are chosen through a random drawing.
The New Jersey State Council on the Arts, created in 1966, is a division of the New Jersey Department of State and an associated agency of the National Endowment for the Arts. The Council was established to encourage and foster public interest in the arts; expand public and private resources dedicated to the arts; promote freedom of expression in the arts; and facilitate the inclusion of art in all public buildings in New Jersey. The Council believes that the arts are fundamental to all the elements we value most in a modern society, including: human understanding; cultural and civic pride; strong communities; excellent schools; lifelong learning; creative expression; and economic opportunity.
You can follow the New Jersey State Council on the Arts at Facebook and Twitter.
“New Jersey Stage is grateful when we see that artists and arts organizations like our stories and share them,” explained Gary Wien, editor. “This is our way of rewarding those who help stories reach a wider audience. Sharing takes just a moment, but it can make a real difference. Many arts organizations don’t hesitate to like or share articles from websites like Broadway World, but if more articles from New Jersey sites were shared, they could be just as big. The big difference is that Jersey websites seek to highlight the local area as their main focus…”
The main advertising package at New Jersey Stage includes four banner sizes (300 x 250, 300 x 600, 970 x 250, and 600 x 776, all in pixels), event pages, and enhanced editorial and link pages. Different ad sizes are placed throughout the website to increase the chances of them being seen. The package is available for $100 per month with discounted rates for 3, 6, and 12 month prepaid.

To be eligible, simply share New Jersey Stage stories on Facebook, Instagram, or Threads. Once a month, New Jersey Stage will pick a random date and create a list of who has shared stories that day. Names will be thrown into a hat and a winner will be chosen. The winner will be notified and can use their free month at any time. If the winner is already a current advertiser on New Jersey Stage, we have something special planned for them that will increase their exposure throughout the month.
“We have always thought of New Jersey Stage as an arts partner more than just a media outlet,” Wien said. “Our advertising rates are much lower than the competition because we believe that all arts organizations should have the opportunity to promote their shows and services regardless of their budgets. See it, share it! The campaign continues that line of thinking. “It is our way of thanking the artistic community for helping us reach our tenth anniversary as a company.”
In addition to the month of publicity, each winner will be added to the list on our links page for the campaign with a link to your website and social media pages.
