June 23
DUI: At 2:01 a.m., a 50-year-old Linwood woman was charged with driving under the influence after her vehicle crashed into a pole at Ninth Street and Meadow Lane in Chester.
State Police Accident: At 10:54 p.m. on Interstate 95 north near mile marker 2, a PennDOT-contracted tow truck collided with a state police vehicle on the shoulder of the road while operating in a separate accident. There were no injuries.
June 21
Criminal Mischief: The front passenger side window of a Nissan GT-R was broken on Caswell at Runnymeade Farms in Edgmont Township. Estimated value at $700.
June 20th
Firearm violation: At 9:09 p.m., officers stopped a 2014 Toyota Avalon at East 22nd and Madison streets in Chester. The operator was found to have a loaded Glock firearm under the seat. Warren Lee, 24, Upper Chichester, had his concealed carry permit revoked and was arrested.
19th of June
Driving under the influence of alcohol: At 9:15 p.m., troopers stopped a 2010 Nissan Frontier on Interstate 476 north at mile marker 10.2 in Haverford Township. The driver, a 48-year-old Scranton man, was charged with driving under the influence.
June 6th
Driving under the influence of alcohol: At 7:42 p.m., officers responded to the Interstate 95 on-ramp at Stewart Avenue for an accident. The driver of a 2018 Kia was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

Criminal Mischief: At 4:09 p.m., officers responded to Ollie’s Bargain Outlet. An employee began to be disruptive and destroy items. She fled the scene before police arrived. It was learned that during a productivity meeting she began cursing and threatening the victim and destroyed $38 worth of lawn fertilizer. The 28-year-old Wilmington woman will be issued a citation.
May 29
Retail Theft: Two men entered Wawa at 970 Baltimore Pike in Concord, went behind the counter and removed two shelves of cigarette packs, then left the store around 1:43 a.m.
Lying in the parking lot: Officers responded at 1:11 a.m. to the 700 block of Naamans Creek Road in Concord for a man lying in the parking lot rambling and cursing. He had a warrant out of Westmoreland County and was arrested.
Retail Theft: Officers were called to the CVS on Pennell Road in Middletown for a retail theft. The woman’s description was broadcast, but she had not left the store. She had not taken anything, but due to past incidents the staff asked her to leave and not return. No items were taken.
May 28
Heist: Maris Grove Way in Concord. Police are investigating an incident in which an unknown person transferred $30,000 from the account of a 92-year-old woman.
may 27th
Drugs: Just before midnight, police stopped a 2016 Transit van for traffic violations. Following the investigation, a K-9 officer was requested. The passenger did not comply, refused to identify herself and resisted arrest. A search warrant was requested and the search revealed that the operator, Abdul Hassan, 39, Baltimore, was in possession of controlled substances.
May 26
Assault by a prisoner: At 5:16 a.m., a 23-year-old Warminster woman was charged with aggravated assault after spitting in the faces of two police officers.
Retail Theft: At 7 p.m., two men entered the Acme and took $235 worth of items, primarily seafood, and left without paying.

Retail theft: At 1:35 p.m., an 85-year-old Maris Grove woman was charged with retail theft in Acme after failing to cooperate.
May 24
DUI: At 10:03 p.m., troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash at Highpoint and Lenni roads in Middletown. A 40-year-old man from Media was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested.
Driving under the influence of alcohol: A 22-year-old Havertown man was charged with driving under the influence after officers stopped his 2009 Mustang on Route 1 in Middletown around 11:30 p.m.

Retail Theft: Officers took the report of the theft of checks, one valued at $4,400, from an 85-year-old woman on Grayville Road in Edgmont. No clues and case closed.
DUI: Just before 10 p.m., officers assisted an impaired motorist in a 2021 BMW X6 on Interstate 476 north in Nether Providence. Signs of impairment were seen in the 65-year-old West Chester man, who was arrested.
May 22nd
Retail theft: Just before 5 pm, officers responded to the Target in Concord for the retail theft of $306 in merchandise. Officers were able to identify Nicole Bonventure, 50, Media, after she left her phone, wallet and identification at the scene.

Exhibitionism: At 8:36 a.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of Baltimore Pike Concord for a report of indecent exposure involving a man in a Tesla. Carl Gonzalez, 80, of Garnet Valley, was charged.
15 th of May
Struggle: Shortly after 8 p.m., officers responded to an incident at Wawa Station Road and Baltimore Pike. A couple hit each other in the face.
may 14
Driving under the influence of alcohol: At 6:43 p.m., troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash on the Exit 3 ramp of Interstate 95 near Chester. The operator reported the accident, then left the scene and was hitchhiking near Route 322, where he crossed all lanes of traffic. Officers said that upon making contact with the man, he was sobbing, crying loudly and acting dramatically. Benjamin Carlyle, 27, Secane, smelled of alcohol and had a 4 Loco alcoholic beverage in his hand, which he attempted to walk into traffic with and began drinking in front of the police officer who took it from him. Carlyle resisted arrest and was eventually taken into custody.
May 8
Heist: At 6:18 p.m., a victim reported someone entered his 2023 Toyota RAV 4 and took $1,000, a key chain and a purse in Concord Park at 725 Smithbridge Road. The robbery occurred between 4:53 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.
May 4
DUI: At 2:30 a.m., officers stopped a 2023 Mercedes Benz on Route 322 in Chester. The driver, a 39-year-old Wilmington woman, was found to be under the influence of alcohol.
Heist: A resident of the 1200 block of Gradyville Road in Edgmont reported his mailbox was stolen.
May 2
DUI: At 7:12 p.m., a 24-year-old Norristown woman was charged with operating under the influence after a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 476 in Marple at mile marker 9.5.
Retail Theft: At 12:52 p.m., officers responded to Wegman’s in Concord for a retail theft of $552. A 28-year-old Newark woman was arrested.
May 1
Drug Arrest: Officers initiated a traffic stop on Edgmont Avenue in Chester and a 35-year-old Collingdale man was found to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
April 20th
Hit and run: At 8:31 a.m., a minor accident occurred between a Jeep and a Subaru Outback near Interstate 476 and Route 1. The Jeep failed to stop and continued toward Media. Troopers located the operator, a 27-year-old Philadelphia man, and discovered he was under the influence of alcohol.
April 9th
Marijuana cookie: At 1:23 p.m., officers responded to Garnet Valley High School to look for two students, an 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old woman, who were in possession of a chocolate chip cookie that contained a small amount of marijuana.

Criminal Mischief: Troopers received a report of a motorist who had a rear window damaged by an object thrown on Interstate 95 in Upland.
