We will have another cold front pass over Iowa this afternoon, but it is expected to be mostly dry. The slight chance of rain will be for northern Iowa later today, where central and southern Iowa will remain mostly dry. This will cause some clouds to return later today. More importantly, expect stronger winds and drier/colder conditions tomorrow. Thursday will bring a more comfortable feel outside with a substantial drop in humidity level, but strong northwest winds at 20 to 25 mph at times. This will be the windiest day of the week and weekend. After Thursday, the winds appear to weaken. You can still notice the wind at times with some windy conditions in the afternoons, but we won’t have as many gusts. Possible isolated pockets of rain are suggested on Saturday, but nothing substantial, so the rain forecast is still expected to remain mostly dry.
