Tornado warnings in southeastern Wisconsin have expired and damage assessment is underway

The National Weather Service issued several tornado warnings across southeastern Wisconsin Sunday night due to severe weather threats. The warnings, which expired at 6:30 p.m., covered northeastern Rock County, southern Jefferson County, northwest Walworth County, southwest Waukesha County and western Racine County. The Storm Prediction Center reported significant damage in Milton, Rock County, with several trees reported. fallen on the houses. The SPC indicated that a tornado touched down northwest of Whitewater, Jefferson County. Additionally, a probable tornado was reported in Fort Atkinson, Jefferson County, and some downed trees were observed.
