A married Louisiana television host abruptly quit his job after being accused of sexting with someone he thought was a 15-year-old girl. But when he set up a meeting with the teenager, “she” turned out to be a trio of vigilante “predator hunters,” according to reports.
Bill Lunn, 59, who was news director and a key on-air face at KTBS in Shreveport, hosted the meeting at his home during lunchtime on May 29, watchers told KeynoteUSA6 News. When three men arrived, he called the police and claimed the men beat him and tried to steal his truck.
However, the amateur detectives (Antonio Coleman, Kameron Kennon and Kataurio Grigsby) waited for the police and told their version of the events.
They turned over what they said was a trove of evidence demonstrating Lunn’s perverted behavior.
“You could see the guilt in his eyes. He knew, ‘Oh, I’m done,'” Coleman told the station.

The trio, who describe themselves as “predator hunters”, said they had created a fake profile on the dating app Meet Me and had posed as the teenager for several weeks in an attempt to “hunt” local men trying to meet minors. Girls for sex.
They claimed Lunn began associating with the so-called teen late on May 28, the night before he allegedly made arrangements to meet.
“They had a little conversation and he asked her how old she was. The girl told him she was 15 years old,” she told KeynoteUSA 6 Coleman, who claimed she was posing as the teenager.
The TV presenter’s alleged plan to meet the girl was thwarted when Lunn came face to face with three men who claimed to be carrying out their own pedophile sting operation. Facebook / Bill Lunn
“He was like sending her pictures. “He was saying that he wanted to do this to her,” she continued. “Explicit things I can’t say on camera.”
When the news anchor arrived home for the meeting, Coleman said he quickly fled after the trio alerted him to the sting operation.
“As Bill was running away, he yells, ‘I have a wife and kids,'” Grigsby said.
“I’m sitting there while he runs out, like in my head, how can you say that when you literally walked into the house expecting to run into an underage teenager?”

Lunn’s attorney, Dhu Thompson, told The Post on Wednesday that the journalist “vehemently denies” the allegations leveled against him.
“It is our preliminary understanding that this incident was not the result of a police investigation, but rather conducted by private individuals,” Thompson said in a statement.
“Our main concern at this time is that the authorities receive all the evidence regarding this incident so that they can conduct a thorough and complete review. Lunn has cooperated with authorities and vehemently denies any allegations of wrongdoing.
“We are hopeful that after a thorough review of all the evidence surrounding this matter, Mr. Lunn will be proven innocent and cleared of all allegations.”
Lunn started working at KTSB in 2019 and was promoted to news director last August, according to his LinkedIn profile.
The television station launched an internal investigation immediately after learning of the incident outside his home last week.
“His resignation took effect immediately on Monday,” the outlet said.
So far, no charges have been filed against Lunn or the men involved in the operation.
The Post contacted local police but did not immediately receive a response.
