The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce presents free business development sessions, titled “Kent County is Open for Business,” on the first Thursday of each month. Mark your calendar for June 6 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. for the next session at the Kent County Levy Court Building.
Kent County Open for Business is a one-stop shop to grow your business, connect with Delaware organizations, and partner with agencies whose sole purpose is to help professionals like you advance their businesses. At each session, attendees can expect to speak face-to-face with representatives from the Delaware Division of Small Business, the Delaware Small Business and Technology Development Center, the Downtown Dover Partnership, SCORE Delaware, and the Kent Economic Partnership , just to name a few. .
No matter what industry you are in, Kent County Open for Business will provide critical and potentially life-changing insights to advance your business to the next level. Participating representatives are experienced professionals who are passionate about serving the central Delaware community and those who want to continue making it the best place to live, work and play.
The chamber encourages everyone to attend this free business development session as many times as possible because there is a lot of information to gain, even more so if you are from out of state. If you are thinking about moving or starting your business in central Delaware, this event is the perfect opportunity to learn about the state’s culture, business practices and protocols, while making connections with competent people who will soon become friendly faces and relatives.
