THE GRATEFUL GOSPEL CONCERT ON JUNE TENTH WILL BE HELD AT 4 PM AT THE MONTPELIER UNITARIAN CHURCH. THIS WILL BE A CELEBRATION OF THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE MONTPELIER COMMUNITY GOSPEL CHOIR. THE CONCERT WILL BE IN HONOR OF JUNETETH AND FEATURE MUSIC BY HEZEKIAH WALKER, WALTER HAWKINS AND OTHER ARTISTS. Whether you’re celebrating Juneteenth or Father’s Day, great events will be taking place throughout our region on Sundays. Juneteenth “Grateful” Gospel Concert in Montpelier, Vermont At 4 pm at the Montpelier Unitarian Church, there is a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Montpelier Community Gospel Choir, in honor of Juneteenth. It will feature music by Hezekiah Walker, Walter Hawkins and other artists. Tickets are available at the door and are $50 for families, $20 for adults and $15 for children and seniors. Juneteenth Concert at the Seagle Festival in Schroon Lake, New York Head to the Oscar Seagle Memorial Theater on Charley Hill Road on Sunday from 2 pm to 3 pm for the Juneteenth Celebration! Tickets are $20. The concert will celebrate vocal music by Black composers and feature eight of the 2024 Seagle Festival’s emerging artists. Adirondack Coast Museum Days Weekend in Clinton County, New York Across Clinton County , museums, cultural centers and historic sites will offer free admission on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participate in demonstrations, tours, hands-on activities, and view exhibits, all for free! Admission to the show is a donation of your choice and all proceeds will go to Shriner’s Hospital. There will be food and activities for kids, including a scavenger hunt and a go-kart show.
