Anyone looking to escape the warm weather this weekend is in for a treat at the Maryland Auto Show. Attendees have the opportunity to see all new car models from approximately 15 different manufacturers at the Baltimore Convention Center. “We have a couple of 2025s that aren’t even on sale yet,” said Sean Tucker, senior editor at Auto Trader. “You can see them here.” Even the least expensive cars on display have some advanced technology. The dashboard screens of some cars can mirror a phone’s screen, allowing users to dictate messages by voice. Some of the more affordable cars also have an automatic emergency braking system. Visitors to the motor show can see the latest electric vehicles and test drive them on the spot. “We have a test track right inside the convention center, where you can drive some of the electric cars inside,” Tucker said. “Then outside, Kia is set to test drive around the city.” If you get tired of looking at cars, head to the Subaru area, Subaru Loves Pets is one of the most popular spots at the Auto Show. “We bring in puppies, we may bring in some adult dogs on Sunday, depending on if all the puppies are adopted,” said Erin Long with the Harford County Humane Society. “This partnership with Subaru is absolutely incredible for us because we’ve been fighting for almost the entire year to be full. So this is just another avenue, it’s new people to meet and see, and see our animals.” The Maryland Auto show runs until 6 pm Sunday. Get tickets online here.
