Little Rock Parkview Class of 2025 running back and defensive back Cameron Settles is one of five Patriots with scholarship offers at Arkansas.
He received his offer from the Razorbacks on May 14 and is scheduled to officially visit Fayetteville June 14-16.
Settles, 6-0, 198 pounds, also has offers from Oregon State, SMU, Memphis, Tulsa, Arkansas State and others.
He had 96 carries for 979 yards and 20 touchdowns last year for the Class 5A state champions and also recorded 33 tackles, 10 pass deflections and 2 interceptions.
He shared playing time in the backfield and played about half a game in 12 of 14 games due to lopsided scoring.
“We have three running backs, a lot of people don’t realize that,” Patriots coach Brad Bolding said. “If you look at his stats, the only thing you have to take into account is that he averaged 10 yards per carry. If he had been at a 4A school, he would have (been) a 2,000- to 25,000-yard rusher. One thing I can say about him is that he is a guy.”
His teammates safety Omarion Robinson, athletes Monterrio Elston and Quentin Murphy and 2026 linebacker Jakore Smith also have offers from Arkansas.
