Four sessions June 5-26, 5:30pm-8pm at the YWCA Homelife Management Center Learning Lab in Wilmington.
The YWCA will host a series of four workshops for people seeking work or career advancement. Includes resume and interview preparation, networking and negotiation strategies.
June 12, 1pm-2:30pm on Zoom facilitated by Delaware SBDC
Dr. Quenton Bond, director of NASA’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program, will discuss opportunities for innovation technology entrepreneurs seeking to conduct related research and development. with NASA technologies.
June 13, 11:30 am to 2:30 pm at the Laurel Public Library
The Small Business Development Center and Fulton Bank team up to talk about starting and maintaining a small business and answer questions. The event is followed by a complementary lunch and networking with other Delaware business owners.
July 18, 7 pm to 8 pm at Continuing and Professional Studies at the University of Delaware in Newark
If you are looking to make a career change or regain skills to advance your career, this information session could help you. It will introduce participants to instructors, information and financial aid options for programs including UD’s new cybersecurity and Python programs.
June 20, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., New Castle County Chamber of Commerce, Wilmington Emerging Business Center
Prepare for the bank loan process with this 3-hour workshop led by Margo Reign of the University of Delaware Small Business Development Center. Explains business loan requirements, how to present your business, and what to expect once you’re approved.
