Two women were killed and another was injured after a car crash in Greensboro on I-40. Greensboro police said the crash occurred Monday around 12:15 a.m. on I-40 West at the Salem Parkway/US 421 divide. Officers said the driver of the vehicle, Jane Mary Alston, 22, Greensboro and one of the passengers, Shamanesha Hargrove, 25, of Winston-Salem, died at the scene. The vehicle crashed into the ravine and overturned before hitting several trees. Officers said the three people were not wearing seat belts and were thrown from the Hyundai Elantra.
