This is a supreme delight for pyrofans, considering it is one of, if not THE, South Dakota’s Largest Fireworks Shows.. Taking place on July 2 and 3 after an exciting rodeo, this impressive spectacle will take place directly in front of the Roundup Rodeo stadium grandstands. This event is free, but donations are always appreciated to help keep things going.
6. Golden Camp Jubilee
The town of Lead is truly charming and gets better in the summer thanks to an incredible all-American fireworks display that will dazzle the whole family. This year’s festivities will take place on July 3 and 4, and with vendors and live entertainment, you can’t go wrong. There is something truly amazing about hearing explosions echo off rock walls. 8. Lake Mitchell Independence Day Celebration
Another lakefront show? Yes please! As a tradition lasting over 30 years, this amazing festival is more of the same amazing fun it’s always been. With boat parades and other antics throughout the day, the main show starts at 9pm and features 20 minutes of music and magic. It’s also free, so yes! Head to lake mitchell and enjoy.
