The YUL-LAX route offers service four times a week starting June 27, while the YUL-SFO route operates three times a week starting June 28.
The seasonal routes will run until October 26 and will provide travelers with seamless connections between eastern Canada and the Golden State’s vibrant west coast.
Passengers on these new routes will enjoy Porter’s signature service, including complimentary premium snacks, beer and wine served in free glassware, and free, fast WiFi for all passengers. Fresh, healthy all-inclusive meals are also available with PorterReserve rates or can be purchased a la carte for those traveling on PorterClassic.
The flights are operated by state-of-the-art Embraer E195-E2 aircraft with 132 seats, configured two by two, meaning there are no middle seats on any Porter flight. The E195-E2 is the greenest single-aisle aircraft, 65% quieter and up to 25% more fuel efficient than previous generation technology.
The flight schedule is as follows:
Route | Service begins | Departure | Arrival |
YUL-LAX (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday) | June 27th | 19:40 | 22:36 |
LAX-YUL (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday) | June 28th | 6:15 a.m. | 2:40 p.m. |
YUL-OFS (Tuesday, Friday, Sunday) | June 28th | 8:00 pm | 23:12 |
OFS-YUL (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday) | June 29 | 6:15 a.m. | 2:40 p.m. |
All times are local.
The routes connect to Halifax, Toronto-Pearson and Toronto-City via Montréal-Trudeau, complementing existing daily non-stop service between Toronto-Pearson with Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Porter’s joint venture partnership with Air Transat also facilitates convenient connections from YUL across Europe, including destinations such as Paris, London, Amsterdam and Marseille. Additionally, passengers flying to Los Angeles and San Francisco can connect with Alaska Airlines, accessing its extensive US West Coast network.
